Mathews Comfort

Mathews Comfort are a business steeped in history. With 165 years of trade behind them they have begun to turn their attention to what the next 165 years might look like.

They initially approached Brown + Cooper to help improve their digital presence, but after our early discussions soon decided that the timing was right for a completely fresh look at their brand.

We soon set about creating an identity that sat in line with the values of the business, a contemporary wordmark with a tip of the hat to the rich history of their past.

Rules for governance have been set in place to help establish a consistent approach to the implementation of the new brand across the two clear divisions within the company.

Brand Collateral

Attention to detail and diligence soon surfaced from our initial discovery stage, as strong values within the business. We needed to back this up with a set of collateral and communication tools that assist in maintaining these values in every aspect of their operation.

Armed with a series of printed collateral and electronic documents, the Mathews Comfort team are continuing to build a strong reputation for consistency and clarity.

A well crafted company brochure was high up on the list of requirements from the outset of the project. A clear and concise communication tool, helping to establish the company values, structure and services offered.

Website Development

Creating a website for Mathews Comfort that presented all services with parity was paramount. Whilst the business offers two distinctly different services, neither service is considered to have greater significance within the company. Clients are often considered a customer on both sides of the business, so a simple method to navigate from one division to the other needed to be offered.

The brief was to remain clear, concise, and to present the business as a modern, forward thinking operation. We've built the website responsively (of course) and have worked hard at creating clear customer journeys and simple access to a considerable amount of information.

Project Outcome

We set out to help an established business modernise and improve their brand, create clarity for their customers and build a stronger sense of identity from within their business. We've loved working with the team at Mathews Comfort and are continuing to explore new ways of helping the business to grow and establish their brand.
